A few good questions must we ask ourselves… There are many more…
.) What does it mean when we pray “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven…” in Matthew 6:10?
.) What is the Gospel of the Kingdom spoken of in Matthew 24:14? “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
.) What is the difference between the Gospel of the Kingdom and the Gospel of Salvation?
.) What is the “end” that will come? How will we and the rest of the world recognize it? Is there any other place that can give us a clue as to what the “end” is?
.) If the Messiah does not know the day of His return, but only the Father, what are the implications of that?
.) What does the parable of the wise and faithful servant in Matthew 24:45-47 allude to?
.) In the parable of the ten virgins of Matthew 25, what does the oil represent? What happened to the foolish virgins? Did the foolish virgins suffer the same fate as the one who “buried” the talent he was given?
.) In the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-29, what do the talents represent? Money? Gifts? Or something else?
.) If the sheep and the goats are the righteous and the wicked, who are the wheat and the tares?
.) Going back to Matthew 22, the wedding feast, who is the bride and who are the guests?
.) What events precede the coming of the Messiah?
.) Will God return the Messiah any time, or will there be a season that we will recognize the imminence of His return?
.) Are there specific overarching patterns in the Bible that shows us what is actually happening and when?
.) What is the difference between holiness and righteousness?
.) What is the difference between holiness and goodness?
.) What is the opposite of holy?
